125 large-print puzzles · 15-point type · 188 pages · solutions included
You know every word. Now find them.
A word search built for the people who were actually there. Every puzzle is made from the songs and artists that defined the decade — Motown, Soul, Nashville, the British Invasion, and the year-by-year hits in between.
Over 1,100 song titles. Not one of them repeats anywhere in the book.
Most puzzle books recycle the same words volume after volume. This one never does.

The themes
Soul Classics · Nashville & Country · The British Invasion · Easy Listening · Chart Toppers of the Sixties · The Motown Sound · Girl Groups · Folk & Protest · Psychedelic Sixties · Surf & Hot Rod · and a puzzle set for each year from 1960 through 1969.
Where the words come from
The song pool was built from the Billboard charts of the decade and the period sub-charts that existed at the time, then normalized and de-duplicated. Titles that were really artist names, chart artifacts and duplicates across spellings were removed by hand and by script. What is left is 1,100 distinct song titles and 553 distinct recording artists.
Artists recur across the book — The Beatles and The Supremes appear on many pages, as they should. Song titles never do.
Large print, stated plainly
The grid letters are set in 15-point type. For comparison, the large-print word search books currently at the top of the category run between 8 and 12 point in the grid, and several that advertise “large print” are at the bottom of that range. See the accessibility page for the full reasoning.
The playlists
Every puzzle page carries a code. Scan it and that puzzle’s playlist opens on Spotify — free, no app, no account needed to browse. All the playlists are here.
