What this is
I write large-print word search books for people who grew up with this music. The puzzles are not made from random word lists — every entry is a real song title or a real artist from the decade on the cover, pulled from the actual charts.
The first book, Songs of the Sixties, holds 125 puzzles and over 1,100 song titles. No title repeats anywhere in the book.
Every fifth puzzle is something different: a Challenge Puzzle, solved by reasoning rather than scanning. Each one has been verified by computer to have exactly one solution.
Why the type is large
The grids are set in 15-point type. That is a deliberate choice, not a marketing line — most word search books for adults run 8 to 11 point, which is genuinely hard to work through for an hour at a time. Read more on the accessibility page.
